The 2019 Pennsylvania Junior Holstein Judging School was sponsored by the Pennsylvania Junior Holstein Association and hosted by the Huntingdon County Holstein Association.  There were over 45 participants in attendance this year. Herds that were visited during the school:  BKD Holsteins, William & Karen Davis Family; Heron Run Holsteins, Will & Betsy Yoder Family; Laurel Run Holsteins, Tim & Tyler Peachey; JoMill Farm, Jason & Melissa Heeter and Way-Lynn Farm, the David & Carrie Anderson Family.

Participants had the opportunity to place 13 classes over two days and work on written and oral reasons on classes.  Participants were also involved in discussing the classes and talking in front of the whole group on placing the classes.  We appreciate the work of Doug Boop who served as the teacher for our two-day conference.

The Pennsylvania Junior Holstein Association is most appreciative to the Huntingdon County Association and the Huntingdon County Junior Holstein Association for helping organize the school and allowing us to judge some excellent cattle in their county.
