Annual Forage Grazing and Management Workshop April 30th

 

On April 30th, the UF North Florida Research and Education Center in Live Oak, FL will be hosting the Annual Forage Grazing and Management Workshop.Annual Forage Grazing and Management Workshop April 30th

This one-day workshop will include topics such as forage options, extending grazing, fertilization and herbicide use, as well as demonstration and establishment.

Below is a draft of the agenda:

9:00 am Winter Forage Plots

10:00 am Warm Season Forages

10:30 am Planting and Establishment of Forages

11:00 am Soil Sampling and Fertilization

11:30 am Weed ID and Control

The focus of the program is to have a good interaction with the audience by any answering any questions and concerns.

It costs $5.00 to attend and there is no need for early registration.
