DAIRY NEWS – The Professional Dairy Producers® (PDPW) offer Dairy’s Visible Voice, Proactive Communication Workshop Thur., Apr. 6 from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. at Foremost Farms, USA office in Baraboo, Wis. Exclusive to dairy farmers, this training will provide the ideas and resources needed to build a creative and proactive communication plan for the dairy farm’s local community and beyond.
Open to all dairy farmers, this training will enable farmers to evaluate their business mission, goals and objectives, discuss tactics to engage community and ultimately, build a robust community relation program and more. Attendees will leave with a plan, the know-how to execute it, and the metrics to evaluate it.
The workshop expert, Renea Heinrich, has a background in agriculture and has been a longtime advocate, including serving as the 44th Alice in Dairyland. As a public relations counselor with MorganMyers, she leads the Illinois Farm Families account team in managing a farmer image-building campaign marketing to Chicago consumers. Through her personal and professional experiences, Heinrich will help dairy farmers build and execute their proactive communication plan focused on public engagement strategy that will achieve on-farm goals while contributing to the community.
The Dairy’s Visible Voice curriculum is designed to enhance leadership skills in the dairy industry through improved communications.
