It was a windy and cold day outside, but one of the hottest sales of the spring inside at the Bo-Joy/Graystone Sale today in Quarryville, PA. It was standing room only for the hundreds in attendance. Bidding was fast and furious from the crowd, phones, and the internet. With Wayne Sliker reading pedigrees and Chris Hill auctioneering, the duo kept the sale moving through the 147 full lots that crossed the shavings for an average of $2,734.00. It was a true breeders sale with the herd displaying great frames, udders, and similar style from one generation to the next. It not only was a passion of a life’s work, but the true art of breeding.
