PRO-DAIRY in partnership with DAIRYBUSINESS & HOLSTEIN WORLD magazine has launched a new weekly webinar series in English each Thursday from 12:30 to 1:15 pm EST. Registration is not required. Click on the Dairy Webinars section of PRO-DAIRY’s website to join. Robotic Milking Systems-Effective use of reports to monitor milk quality and maintenance.Presenter: Dr. Rick Watters, Western Laboratory Director, Sr. Extension Associate, Quality Milk Production Services, Cornell University College of Veterinary Medicine

Robotic milking systems generate a tremendous amount of data that can be used for management decisions. It can be overwhelming. Dr. Watters will discuss how to use reports to pinpoint the information that can impact milk quality and maintenance management decisions.

Wednesday Webinars in Spanish
PRO-DAIRY is now offering dairy management webinars in Spanish from 12:30 to 1:00 pm the last Wednesday of each month January through April. Registration is not required. Access the webinar link on the Dairy Webinars section on PRO-DAIRY’s website to join. The January webinar will focus on the calving process, and what’s happening with the cow and the calf. The last three webinars will be a series on reproductive management, including heat detection, pregnancy checking, synch protocols and 1st and subsequent breeding strategies.

Webinars in Spanish are from 12:30 to 1:00 PM EST on the last Wednesday of each month.
