BioZyme® Hires Caitlin Tye as Content and Social Media Manager
St. Joseph, MO – Caitlin Tye, a seventh generation agriculturalist, is the newest member of the marketing team at BioZyme® Inc. She began her role as Content and Social Media Manager on May 25.
Caitlin is an Illinois native who most recently coordinated the social media presence for Deere & Company. Prior to working at Deere, she served as an Admissions Counselor at New Mexico State University in Portales, as the Events Manager at the Curry County Events Center in Clovis, N.M., and as the Communications Director for the Missouri Cattlemen’s Association. She is a graduate of West Texas A&M University with a bachelor’s degree in Agricultural Communications. She competed in horse judging at both the junior and senior college levels.
“There are brands within BioZyme that have been on the forefront of utilizing social media to communicate with those using our products, but not all divisions within the company use that technology, some of which should be without question. Caitlin comes to us with incredible experience as a social media analyst with John Deere as well as a solid agricultural and equestrian background,” said Jackie Lackey, Director of Strategic Marketing for BioZyme. “Not only will Caitlin be able to facilitate engaging content and interact with our many different audiences, she will ensure that our social media efforts are meeting our objectives and creating the kind of return we expect. She is passionate about taking advantage of all of the tools available to us and our dealers so we can maximize our communication efforts through channels in which our customers already use on an everyday basis.”
Caitlin was raised in a rich farming community, and has always had deep appreciation for agriculture. While involved with the Miss America Organization, her platform was Ag education for youth and teaching the next generation to appreciate what farmers do. She also has a passion for the equine industry, and got her first pony at the age of nine. She currently owns a 5-year-old performance mare that is in a training program, and enjoys spending as much time as she can with her horse. Caitlin is a member of the American Quarter Horse Association.
“I am excited to continue to work within my degree for an industry I am so passionate about. I am excited that I can work for BioZyme and be a military wife at the same time,” Caitlin said. “I am really excited about being a part of the vision of the company and where they want to take the brand in the future.”
Caitlin will relocate to Cabot, Ark., to live with her husband, Dylan, a staff sergeant in the United States Air Force stationed at Little Rock Air Force Base. To reach Caitlin or any of the BioZyme staff, visit www.biozymeinc.com.
