Heavy snow on Thursday is the likely cause of a barn roof collapse in northeast Loveland that trapped 55 cows, three of which were injured and later euthanized.Firefighting crews from Loveland Fire Rescue Authority and Windsor Severance Fire Rescue responded to the call about the fallen roof at 6875 N. Boyd Lake Ave. around 5:30 p.m., said Ned Sparks, LFRA Division Chief.

As of 7:45 p.m., around 22 cows had been rescued and removed from the confinement of the toppled barn, Sparks said…….
